There are many events related to ISO/TC 292 activities: plenary and Working Group meetings, workshops and seminars. Some of these are open to the public but participation in the formal meetings requires approval your country's national standards body to allow you to represent your country's positions in these discussions.
ISO/TC 292 holds week-long plenary meetings in 7-9 months cycles with the participation of 120-140 delegates from 20-30 countries. All active Working Groups meets in conjunction with the plenary.
ISO standardization is truly international and all activities are held to encourage all countries to be actively involved in the work of ISO/TC 292.
The 4th plenary meeting will be held in Korea (April, 2017)
ISO/TC 292 has previously met in the following places:
1st plenary meeting in Morioka, Japan (March 8 to13, 2015)
2nd plenary meeting on Bali, Indonesia (November 29 to December 4, 2015)
3rd plenary meeting in Edinburgh, UK (September 4 to 9, 2016)
